Children’s ABI Peer Support Group

This program is for children ages 4 to 18 years of age who live with an acquired brain injury. (ABI) It is both a peer support group and a social, facilitated by a social worker and assisted by BIAWE volunteers.

This children’s program provides therapeutic activities tailored to the unique needs of children with ABI. Our program focuses on improving cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being while fostering a sense of community and belonging by learning from each other.

This program is only for those children whose parents/caregivers concurrently attend the Pediatric Caregivers Peer Support Group.

Siblings of children living with an ABI may also attend if they are between the ages of 4 and 18 years of age.
